The InGravel Story

Who We Are

InGRAVEL was born in the heart of Tuscany’s Maremma, a land of white gravel roads, vineyards, authentic villages, and wine culture. The project came to life through the collaboration between Andrea Gurayev, former professional cyclist and expert on the territory, Werner Peruzzo, international manager specializing in creating sporting events and outdoor experiences, and the Consorzio Tutela Morellino, a strategic partner in promoting the region’s food and wine identity.

The idea behind InGRAVEL stems from a simple yet ambitious vision: to create immersive experiences where gravel, territory, wine, hospitality, and authentic connections come together naturally. The Maremma was the ideal starting point. An authentic territory where the slow rhythm of cycling allows you to experience the landscape in depth, riding through vineyards, wineries, hills, and roads that tell the story of Morellino culture. From this, a new way of interpreting gravel was born: not just sport, but a cultural and territorial experience.

Today InGRAVEL looks beyond Tuscany. The goal is to export this format to other Italian and international wine regions, creating experiences that showcase local excellence through the universal language of cycling. From the hills of Italian wine country to the great wine regions of Europe and beyond, InGRAVEL aims to build a network of destinations united by the same values: authenticity, territory, quality of experience, and connection between people. We don’t simply organize cycling events. We create experiences that allow you to discover extraordinary territories by pedaling slowly, connecting with the people, flavors, and stories that make them unique.

Mission and Values

Our Values

We believe that cycling is one of the most authentic ways to connect with a territory. InGRAVEL’s mission is to create immersive experiences that unite sport, nature, food and wine culture, and slow tourism, showcasing local excellence through the universal language of gravel. We want to transform every route into an experience to remember, capable of creating a real bond between people and the places they ride through.

Authenticity

Every InGRAVEL experience is born from the territory and the people who live it every day. We collaborate with local producers, wineries, accommodations, chefs, and organizations that share our vision.

Slow Experience

Cycling means slowing down, observing, breathing, and experiencing the landscape with respect. We promote a way of traveling that is sustainable, mindful, and deeply human.

Connection

We believe in the value of relationships: between people, businesses, territories, and communities. InGRAVEL is a meeting point for different passions that find a common language in cycling.

The Experience

We take care of every detail to offer events and routes built with attention, balance, and emotion. From route selection to hospitality, every element is designed to create an authentic and memorable experience.

The Territory

Our goal is not just to ride through a territory, but to tell its story. The white gravel roads of the Maremma, the Morellino vineyards, historic villages, and local flavors become an integral part of the experience.

A Special Partner

The Territory

Tuscany’s Maremma is the heart of InGRAVEL. An authentic territory where nature, silence, white gravel roads, and food and wine culture coexist in perfect balance. Here gravel finds its ideal dimension: routes immersed among hills, vineyards, olive groves, Mediterranean forests, and panoramas that open up to the sea. Our experiences traverse iconic places of the truest Tuscany: Magliano in Toscana, Scansano, Montemerano, Saturnia, and the Morellino landscapes, among historic villages, natural hot springs, and exceptional wineries.

InGRAVEL was born precisely from the desire to tell this territory’s story in a different way: not as spectators, but by living it slowly, kilometer after kilometer. Every route is designed to create a continuous dialogue between bicycle and territory. Stops become opportunities to taste local wines, meet producers, discover culinary traditions, and encounter people who preserve the authentic identity of the Maremma. For us, the territory is not simply a backdrop for the event. It’s the protagonist. And it’s what makes every InGRAVEL experience unique, authentic, and impossible to replicate elsewhere.
